Carole
uses the Blood group diet
as the backbone for her
nutritional advice then
works out an eating plan
for each individual based
on their ancestry, likes
and dislikes and then
tailors it to the individuals
unique biochemical needs.
The
blood group diet was developed
after many years of research
by the works of Doctor
James and his son Peter
D`Adamo. Originally inspired
by James D’Adamo
a naturopathic physician
who observed that while
some people did well on
a typical vegetarian diet
others did not. He eventually
surmised that there must
be something in our blood
that determined what we
should or should not be
eating. Slowly food choices
according to which ABO
blood type you were became
apparent.
Those
with blood group O thrived
on a meat based diet supplemented
with poultry fish nuts
and seeds and carbohydrates
mainly from vegetables
and fruits avoiding wheat
and dairy foods from cows.
Blood type A it seemed,
benefited from a virtually
meat free diet with protein
from Soya, poultry, legumes
and fish and a variety
of complex whole-grains
fruits and vegetables.
Blood group B a varied
mixed diet and AB a combination
of A and B beneficial
and recommended avoid
foods.
It
was then surmised after
a colossal amount of research
from Dr. Peter D ’Adamo
that what we eat interacts
with each of us in a unique
way and that, that relationship
is governed by our genetic
makeup and ancestry. This
then makes sense of the
old Hippocratic saying
of ‘what is one
mans meat is another mans
poison’ It is not
that a particular food
is healthy or unhealthy
per se rather it interacts
with us in a healthy or
unhealthy manner. These
works and ongoing research
have enabled thousands
of people around the world
to understand and act
on the diverse amount
of differing information
regarding what they should
or should not eat and
many on following the
recommendations experience
vastly improved health
and well-being. As the
bodies’ metabolism
normalises weight optimisation
is a side effect experienced
on following the Blood
Group Diet. For further
